Makulu Waterfall (中文版:馬庫路瀑布) is a large waterfall in Pingtung, Wutai Township. There is a path all the way to the waterfall, but a landslide just before the waterfall has collapsed some of the route, making getting to the waterfall more difficult. It's a 10 minute walk to the waterfall from the end of the dirt road, or a 30 minute walk from Dawu Village at the bottom.

There are more waterfalls below Makulu Waterfall, including some with deep pools and ledges to jump from.  You can get to these waterfalls by tracing downriver from the beginning of the trail, or crossing the river and continuing along a small path on the ride side.  The larger path on the left goes to the main waterfall.
